Dr. Peter Rosella gained a personal understanding of disease management when a family member contracted a severe illness. He brings that experience with him to UMI with patient-centered, empathetic medical care.
A specialist in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Dr. Rosella attended medical school at the University of Buffalo, where he was Chief Radiology Resident for three years. During his residency, he published an article on carotid angioplasty and stent placement in the journal Neurosurgical Focus. He also completed UMI's own Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship in 2008.
Dr. Rosella is certified by the American Board of Radiology, with designation as an authorized user of radiopharmaceuticals. Licensed by the American Heart Association in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and is a certified Magnetic Resonance Medical Director (MRMD) by the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety. He is also a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Radiologic Society of North America.
